Life Groups – Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m.
Life Groups start with Opening at 9:45 a.m. with everyone gathering in the sanctuary to worship with song favorites before dismissing to classes. At 10:00 a.m. everyone breaks into classes. Classes are offered for children ages preschool thru high school. Nursery is available for children under 3 years of age. In addition to classes for children, adults have their own Life Group to attend as well. Community is important for all ages, as learning how to apply God’s Word to our daily lives is a lifetime journey. This informal time offers everyone an opportunity to engage in small group discussion with age appropriate lessons.
Bible Study
Bible Study is an informal time of studying the God of Word for men and women. It is a small group format, which offers ample opportunities for questions and discussion on the part of the Bible studied that evening. Following Bible Study is a time of coffee and fellowship at a local restaurant where everyone is welcome. There is no childcare offered during Bible Study. Bible Study is currently suspended. Please check with our church office for when the ministry has been restarted.
Covenant Women
Covenant Women are part of the Women Ministries of The Evangelical Covenant Church, whose mission is to provide opportunities for women to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. The LeRoy Covenant Women support missionaries and denominational projects abroad, as well as, serve our local community in a wide variety of ways including helping the local food pantry, providing hats, gloves and socks for Gifts For Kids and helping local needs with things ranging from food baskets to gas cards. Their desire is to help women of the church stay connected to each other, their local community and abroad.
Worship Team – Once a month
“Shout praises to the Lord, everyone on this earth. Be joyful and sing as you come in to worship the Lord!” Psalm 100:1-2 Every month we gather together to practice music for worship services and special performances. Music ranges from on-the-radio contemporary to traditional hymns. We believe song is just one form of worship; therefore, we incorporate instruments, shouting, raising hands, clapping and joy in worship services. Children also participate monthly in leading songs and providing percussion assistance! If you love music, please join us! Please check with the church office for the practice dates.
